Official Documentation of Trudope

## Introduction

The truth of it.  The dope of it. 

Our name, **Trudope**, is derived from the words truth and dope.  We are creating a platform on which we will reveal the truth in various situations to our followers.  Using the differing definitions of dope, we are going to discuss whether the item being discussed is a cover-up, stupid, or positive.

# MetaMask Setup

How to setup your Metamask Wallet and Polygon Mainnet.

## Downloading and Installing MetaMask

[MetaMask](https://metamask.io/) can be downloaded as a browser extension on any compatible browser.

The links to download MetaMask can be found here for [**Chrome Web Store**](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/metamask/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn), [**Firefox Add-ons**](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ether-metamask/), and [**Edge Add-ons**](https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/metamask/ejbalbakoplchlghecdalmeeeajnimhm).

MetaMask is also compatible with Brave browser.

MetaMask can also be installed on [**Android**](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.metamask\&hl=en_US\&ref=producthunt&_branch_match_id=739701339152755845), and [**iOS**](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/metamask/id1438144202?_branch_match_id=739701339152755845).

## Creating an Account

Once MetaMask has been downloaded and installed, you may proceed to create an account.

The steps to create an account are outlined below:

1. Click on the "Create a Wallet" button.
2. Create a password. This will be used when logging in to MetaMask in the same browser.
3. View your secret seed phrase and write it down on a secure location.
4. Select each phrase in order and click "Confirm".

Your seed phrase will be used if you want to import your wallet to a fresh MetaMask install on a different browser and/or device.&#x20;

Never give your seed phrase out to anyone. This can be used similar to your password to access your account.

## Connecting to the Polygon Mainnet

After you have created an account on MetaMask, it will default to the Ethereum Mainnet.

The steps to add the Polygon Mainnet network are outlined below:

1\. Go to the Settings menu by clicking on the circle on the upper right hand side of the screen.

2\. Click on "Networks" and "Add Network".

3\. Input the following information:

* Network Name: Polygon Mainnet
* New RPC URL: <https://polygon-rpc.com>
* Chain ID: 137
* Currency Symbol: MATIC
* Block Explorer URL: [https://polygonscan.com](https://polygonscan.com/)

4\. Click "Save" and return to the main menu.

5\. Verify that your MetaMask has been set to the Polygon Mainnet network in the upper right-hand side of the screen.


# The Political Agenda

With the current political landscape, leaders and other figure heads have been creating a divisive atmosphere with the help of the paid for media.

## About the Political NFTs

The political NFTs are going to focus on key points of contention between the people on every side.  From there, we will gather the facts that are associated with each point and deliver the truth with verifiable links to information.  We will also provide a synopsis of what is actually being said or done. &#x20;

The political NFT dope meter is broken down into the following three categories:

The formula used to calculate the the dope meter score is shown below (d = dope score, g = good/beneficial topic count, s = stupidity topic count, c = cover-up topic count, wg/ws/wc = weighted value from each category, t = total number of topics).

The higher the number, the worse the subject is for the constituents within their region.  This can be compared to others in order to make a quick glance rank of how they stack up.

Everyone has a story.  Now you'll get your chance to shed some light into the shadows.

## About the Shadows NFTs

The Shadows NFTs are going to cover cryptids and other elements from within the shadow.  The attributes of the NFTs will be stated and viewable throughout the standard platforms.  Owners of the Shadows NFTs will have the opportunity to share their opinions and/or their eye-witness events of such creatures.

The twist comes in the form that the subscribers of the content are going to be able to rank the content and that's what will be giving the dope meter score.  Our team will verify that the content is appropriate and in alignment with the NFT collection and will provide our own thoughts on the matter. &#x20;

The formula used to calculate the the dope meter score is shown below (d = dope score, c = cover-up/verifiable topic count, i = interesting/plausible topic count, s = stupid/hoax topic count, wc/wi/ws = weighted value from each category, t = total number of topics).

The higher the number, the worse the subject and the more likely that it is a hoax rather than something real.

# How it Works

Owners get to create content.  Subscribers get to rate it.

## Owners

The owners of the NFT will have the unique experience of being able to add content to their NFT in order to try and boost the validity of it.  When adding content, the owner will have to fill out a form with the following selections.

### Storage

The owners will get to choose the amount of storage that they want to use for their additional NFT data.  Each NFT starts off at level 0 and you can upgrade your NFT level if you need additional storage for all of your content.  In order to increase your level, you have to pay the fee for each level.  You will be able to skip levels but will pay the fee for each level skipped.

### Visibility

The owner will have the option of:

* **Public:** content will be visible to the public.
* **Private:** additional content is hidden to the public, but there is an icon stating that there is content existing

### Type

The type that they select will help to either promote the subject or to debunk it.

* **Opinion piece:** their thoughts on the subject.
* **Fictional piece:** nothing more than additional lore to go along with the subject.
* **Eyewitness account:** this could be from a friend, family member or even themselves and will be the most interesting to review.  If it is an eyewitness account, relation to the witness will be requested.

### NSFW

Any content that will not be considered safe for work must be labelled as such.  This will include:

* Pornographic imagery or text.
* Excessive gore
* Sensitive images or text

### Documents/Images

Owners will be allowed to submit documents and/or images to support the cause and will be limited in size to the NFT level that they have.  If more space is needed, please refer to the [Storage](#storage) section.&#x20;

### Summary

A summary text will be required if text is going to be added.  This will be the synopsis of the main text that is being stored.  Ensure that this text is captivating as this will be the text that is displayed as the users are scrolling through the content.

### Content

The text content is where the owner will tell the story of what transpired.  This will be visible when readers click on the NFT to view more if the owner has selected the content to be public.  If more space is needed, please refer to the [Storage](#storage) section.&#x20;

### Disclaimer

All content that is added will go through a review process.  If the content does not meet the criteria listed below, it will be removed and the process for adding content will be locked until we have a discussion about it.

* Added content must refer to the subject of the NFT.  For example, a Windigo NFT must have Windigo content, not Bigfoot content.
* Cannot name other people's real names and specific locations.  All names must be changed and locations must be generalized for safety purposes.  Doxing of others is not permitted.
* Any content that is NSFW must be selected as NSFW.
* Hate speech will not be tolerated.  This includes racial slurs, racist images, anti-lgbtq, and any other content that is geared towards discrimination of any sort.
* No promoting other sites and/or products.

## Subscribers

Subscribers are going to be the ones that help decide which category from the [Dope Meter](/shadows/from-the-shadows#dope-meter-rankings) that the content that is provided will fit into.  There will be different subscription packages that will be available for users based on the level of involvement that they want to do.  There will be limitations on how many collections are visible and the number of rankings provided each month based on the the subscription selected.

The Curiosity Level is for those subscribers that want to get their toes wet and take a peek into what lies in the shadows.  Generally, these curios people move on to the Binge Level after they get a taste for what is shown.

# Benefits

Bringing real world benefits to holders without the need to stake or continually invest.

## Owners

Owners of the Shadows NFT will be eligible for rewards in the form of payouts from subscription fees as well as royalties from merch that can be sold with the image of the NFT.

### Subscription Payouts

Subscription payouts will be based on the following:

* First $5,000 in subscription fees per collection is retained for ongoing operational costs.
* 75% of all remaining subscription fees collected will be dispersed amongst eligible holders while 25% is retained to the company.
* 5% of the dispersed amount is spread across all of the NFT holders as a base amount.
* 95% of the dispersed amount is spread across those that have given additional content and will be weighted based on their rankings that have been given.
  * Cover-up/Verifiable rank will give a weight of 3 per vote
  * Interesting/Plausible rank will give a weight of 2 per vote
  * Stupid/Hoax rank rank will give a weight of 1 per vote
  * No rank will give a weight of 0
  * The formula per NFT will be $$Payout = (sum(vote \* weight) / TotalVotesWeight) \* AvailableFunds$$
* Early Adopter fees are not included in the payouts

### Merch

We are working with merch suppliers in which we will be able to create a store front based on a users individual NFT.  This will then allow viewers to purchase merch from their store and they will collect on the royalties.

At this time, we have not put any limitations on the number of mints or the number of Trudopes that a user can have.  If you wish to purchase all, you have the ability to do so.  However, considering that there is a user forum that is going to be made available, if you own all of them then you are not going to be able to connect with others!

JETI Services is a platform that is geared towards providing services to blockchain projects in order to get them up and running.  The site for the Trudope project was developed and is maintained by JETI Services.

In addition to the website, JETI Services provided the smart contract development, testing and getting it audited to ensure that it performs to security standards.

Contracts that are used for the Trudope project were audited by Securi-Lab.  All contracts have passed the audit process and are certified safe to be used.  For full audit details of the Trudope contract, see the attached audit document below.

The contracts associated within this audit include:

* **Trudope NFT**
* **Payments Factory and Payments:** *Used as a multi-sig contract to add a layer of security around the funds being collected.*
* **Marketplace and Vendor:** *This will be used to create a platform within the Trudope site so that you can buy, sell, and trade your NFTs within the same platform instead of having to use a third party.  This will be done Q3/Q4 of 2023.*
