About the Shadows NFTs

The Shadows NFTs are going to cover cryptids and other elements from within the shadow. The attributes of the NFTs will be stated and viewable throughout the standard platforms. Owners of the Shadows NFTs will have the opportunity to share their opinions and/or their eye-witness events of such creatures.

The twist comes in the form that the subscribers of the content are going to be able to rank the content and that's what will be giving the dope meter score. Our team will verify that the content is appropriate and in alignment with the NFT collection and will provide our own thoughts on the matter.

Features

IN-SITE VIEWER

There will be standard meta-data applied to each NFT which will be visible on other platforms, such as Opensea. However, there will be a proprietary layer which will only be viewable on our site. This will contain all of the NFT information as it pertains to that specific NFT.

UNIQUE

All of the Shadows NFTs will be unique in that they are done through an AI algorithm to ensure their uniqueness. They are then touched up and have the necessary information layered in to them to give them their unique attributes for the owner.

DOPE METER

The dope meter for the Shadows NFTs will cover the interesting, the stupid/hoax, and the cover-ups. With the weighted values, we will provide you with a score out of a total of 5 points. The higher the number, the more likely that the subject is fake.

Dope Meter Rankings

The Shadows NFT dope meter is broken down into the following three categories:

COVER-UP/VERIFIABLE

Weight: 1

We are going to be weighting cover-ups as a one because if someone is going through enough effort to cover it up, then there must be something there to give it more validity.

INTERESTING/PLAUSIBLE

Weight: 3

Interesting categories are exactly what they say, "interesting". They catch our attention but are they just a tale or are they something that can be verified?

STUPID/HOAX

Weight: 5

Stupid/hoax rankings will get the worst weighting as they are geared towards making people either fear or to swindle people. Those fitting within this category will tend to be more fake.

The formula used to calculate the the dope meter score is shown below (d = dope score, c = cover-up/verifiable topic count, i = interesting/plausible topic count, s = stupid/hoax topic count, wc/wi/ws = weighted value from each category, t = total number of topics).

$$d = ((c * wc) + (i * wi) + (s * ws)) / t$$

The higher the number, the worse the subject and the more likely that it is a hoax rather than something real.

The dope meter is not to be considered as a guarantee that the subject exists within the shadows, but rather a reference point in to comparing events.
